Troubled Truth

Just wanted to spare your feelings
The only reason they could come up with for their lies and infidelity
Lies to those around them because of dissatisfaction with whom they’ve become
No sense of ownership for personal actions and behaviors
Life guided by “by any means” motives
But the influence of Malcolm X has been lost
His by any means meant not taking “No” for an answer and working diligently towards a greater goal
Now lying and cheating are the only means by which most want to make it
Making it as a lie means that the true you can never be loved and appreciated
God knows that these created figures can never match the hand crafted, genuine individuals they once were
Lives established for Twitter and Facebook destroy initial characteristics and create characters that self can’t even recognize
Reality is no longer recognized either who individuals seek to be is placed higher than who they are
All parts of person are needed for success: past, present, future
Each of these ingredients towards making the best you
Rather than destroying yourself as you create a “You” for “Them”
Those on the outside creating truths for what your life is cannot be trusted or even honored
Don’t get lost in the world of false truths for instant gratification
No matter the image that you put on for the outside, you always have to live with your inner portion
May be able to convince millions a lie but a million times out of a million, you cannot lie to yourself
Much more energy is spent in making a lie rather than holding on to the truth
Troubled truth, just as a half truth, is a whole lie
So be confident in what you have and who you are and truthfully trust that trouble doesn’t last always and that
