What's going on blog world? I really put out a strong blog, if I may so myself, about the condition of women and how to improve it so I know I have to come just as hard for my brothers. We are really being challenged nowadays to project a certain image of manhood but with so many of us not being properly taught how to "be a man" in this society, how is it possible? I mean, how can we meet expectations that we are never taught exist? I think that if we sit back and analyze the world that is around it and how we effectively can fit into the world, those expectations will become much more apparent...
To begin, there is the issue of how "hard" a man should act when he is around females and around his boys. Damn that. With each situation we face, we should attempt to be as respectful of those around us as possible in order to keep the equilibrium needed for peace in this world. While naturally, some men may be more outspoken or reserved than others, there is within all of us a certain level of dignity that we can hold on to; if there wasn't, we would not have been made in the image of God. Though many may try to argue that fact that some men are most likely to live these dignified and respectful lives because of racial, social, and economic backgrounds, any true MAN or young MAN has the ability to reach the stars. Extending our arms to the heavens though should not be at the sacrifice of our fellow human beings. More importantly, that extension of our arms should not harm others, only enhance our standing and the standing of those around them....
Though many believe that it is an inherent quality of men to desire to seek out their path in this world on their own, it is a deep lie indeed that no man does not seek out the approval of those around them. This yearning for acceptance can be helpful but when it grows to too high of a level, it can nearly break a man down. If your actions are geared towards your advancement and the advancement of your inner circle, then they are positive and should be enhanced to the fullest degree. When the balance shifts too much to either side, that is where problems have the highest probability of occurring. If you aim towards only achieving things in this life for yourself, you are nearly confining yourself to a life of momentary, monetary, and materialistic happiness with no such legacy or love to hold on to. If you aim towards only achieving things for others, that is when you begin to lose yourself in this world. Both of these type of failed aims can be seen in a lot of the main issues that we are currently facing.
It is time for us as men to stop counting how many chicks we run through and start counting how many lives we positively touch. What do you want to be able to tell your children at the end of the day? How to effectively change the world or how to effectively add drama to your life and ruin the lives of plenty of women. The more women that we lay with, the more our heart is being divided whether we know it or not. We attempt to say that we are heartless beings but it's impossible to not seek out the love of another human being or at least the companionship. As you count the number of women you lay with, think about how it would feel to have someone just count your sister, mother, niece, aunt or best friend as just another skeeze they squeezed. Not only does the objectification of women need to cease, but the mistreatment of women physically and emotionally...
I found it quite wild that a lot of people want to attack Rihanna for speaking out against Chris Brown. While it is unfair that she is just now coming out about the situation, she still has some ground to stand on no matter what. I don't care if she burned down Chris Brown's house with his favorite dog in there, as a man, he should have never placed his hands on her. Just the same as she is abusing the media coverage by attempting to replay the situation, he is as well by constantly appearing in interviews concerning it. He should attempt to keep his growth as a man private because that's what a man does; once you start seeking out approval for all of your actions, you are slowly but surely selling your actions. Further then not physically attacking women, we must be more respectful of their needs as women on a mental love...
The world is filled with angry children that didn't have fathers growing up and had to depend on single mothers to play both roles. Laying with a woman and abandoning her as soon as she gets pregnant is the weakest thing a man can ever do in this world. If you are not willing to spend time in the home, stop trying to make houses. Not only does leaving the woman abandoned cause the household structure to suffer but it simply creates a space for negative aspects to grow and spread. Create examples for those around you to want to mimic that can change the world for all of us, rather than destroy it from the inside out....
We have to do better as men and aspiring young men. Know that with a mind and a heart to be better, we can achieve all that we desire. Let's stop fulfilling the stereotypes and rebuilding our relationships with God, our family, and our women. We all have the capability to be great, we just have to stop stopping ourselves from achieving greatness by believing that we cannot do it. As long as we work diligently in whatever area of life that is meant for us, remain respectful, treat all as if they are our family, and simply seek out to master at least one job, we as men can lead to every epidemic in the world being changed. Let's stop teaching our sons, little brothers, and nephews and any men that we encounter that violence and sexism are all that we can master and show them that we can guide, love, and lead this world to greatness. Believe in your ability and let no one stir you away...
