What's going on blog word? This is the fourth out of five entries in the series I'm working on and this one builds off of my fourth inspirational point, "Set a goal for yourself." This point was developed when I heard someone say that they don't set goals for themselves so they won't fail. EPIC FAIL! That has to be some of the worst logic I've ever heard and it truly disheartens me because I bet that this person passes on some of that foolishness to those around them so it becomes a never ending cycle. Back to the topic at hand, I strongly support the whole idea of setting goals while fighting failure.
If you truly believe that not setting a goal will prevent failure, you failed at that goal. We are all human beings and thus will fail at sometime in our life, some more than others, but it is how we combat those failures that dictates our level of success. If you don't anticipate failure, you should anticipate to fail indeed because you have not thoroughly planned out your actions. The success of Plan A feels great, but having Plan B and C does nothing but enhance your efforts. At this point, we have to move past the childish dreams of being doctors, basketball players and lawyers and even janitors (You may laugh at janitors but we need all professions to keep this world moving smoothly. I surely respect all of those in the workforce). By this, I mean that we no longer can simply dream of it; we have to begin to set our dream as our goal and plan on how we want to achieve it....
These high aspirations do not simply fall into our laps but we have to position ourselves to catch them. Dream big but plan on working big as well. Set a goal that is worth fighting for and worth living/dying for rather then what pays the most because I guarantee your personal happiness is not fully influenced by your monetary value. Despite what outward facades may say, money cannot buy happiness; it can buy lust but never love. Goals help with this process because who does not want to succeed at all they do? If you've set a goal, there is nothing greater then achieving it. Even if you don't grasp the initial goal, your dedication will lead to whatever is meant for your life, and at least this way you know that you've lead a life dedicated to your personal happiness and possibly the happiness of those around you...
Fate should be the only thing that perhaps changes your resolve towards achieving your goals; not people that don't believe you can achieve it, finances, circumstances, neighborhood, family, education or your own negative thoughts. Believe that the major things in this world are yours to grab, develop a plan to achieve this, and make that goal your reality...
