What's going on blog world? I was highly motivated by my trip to church this morning and even wrote the majority of this while sitting in church on my dash. The pastor asked if someone were to study you, would they be able to tell that you are a Christian. That is exactly what I want to address on today.
I know that some reading this may not be Christians so I simply want to question whether or not your behavior represent that of a useful and productive individual. Simply being a Christian or a good person by title is not satisfactory. Outward appearances cannot authentically represent change because if your heart remains the same, then you still allow yourself to slip back down the same slope you originally fell down. Just as an outward appearance cannot simply reflect change, an outward appearance is of the utmost importance for change. Your heart can be good but if you don't allow the Godly love that has touched it, you are serving a self defeating purpose. It is the same notion as studying weeks for an exam and knowing all the right answers but consciously selecting the wrong answers. Similarly, it is like knowing the despair that heartbreak can bring into your own life but then proceeding to cheat on your own spouse. Finally, it is similar to knowing that you have an infectious disease and knowing a vaccination is available and not receiving it and therefore creating the possibility to spread the disease...
I don't mean to continuously bang on the point but that is how much ignorance gets to me. Stop returning to your abusive spouse simply because you do not thing that you deserve anything more. You deserve the world. Stop allowing those around you to enforce negative decisions in your life because you think that is the only way to be happy. You deserve nothing but positive influences. Stop resiting change in your life because you are afraid of failing. You deserve nothing but the best.
The best cannot be achieved without some outward and inward work that can be aided greatly by dedicating your life to the improvement of the world through the aid and the love of God. I hope that you all (and I include myself in this) begin to allow all of the opportunities that are out there for you begin to enter your life despite whatever difficult road that must be conquered. Please know that if I tagged you or not, if we are friends or not, if we are Facebook friends or not, I believe that you are fully capable of achieving everything in this life. The first step is believing in yourself.
