Be courteous to all, but intimate with few;
and let those be well-tried before you give them your confidence.

Blog world, what's going on? Reading through some facebook statuses and it's always the same thing in a whole lot of statuses about how either a guy/girl has broken their heart because they haven't lived up to the expectations of what they need in life. A lot of times though these expectations are so unrealistic that I don't even see how people come up with them...
People want a lover, a financial supporter, a 24/7 hotline, a best friend, a means of transportation, a baby sitter, just everything in one person, knowing that they couldn't even meet up to half of the aspects of love that they want. First and foremost, the most important issue that needs to be addressed prior to any relationship is your feelings toward yourself, because if you don't love yourself and care for yourself, how can you expect to give love? Make sure that you are one with yourself before anything.
Secondly, I recommend you getting right with your religion or lack thereof because that allows you to have another aspect in your life to depend on rather than a spouse. God can provide you with a sense of acceptance in the world that no human being can. God loves us all despite of our sins so molding ourselves after him and using his teachings to guide us can lead to the most self fulfilling life.
Finally, I want to clarify that I'm not against relationships because I think when you do find a certain someone to embark on your life journey with, it is the most beautiful thing possible. Just know that, you have to give in what you are expecting in return. Keep your relationship to yourself and your spouse because your business isn't for everyone. Collaborate with that one person about your relationship because at the end of the day you two are the only ones that must deal with it.
I hope that your search for love goes well or that you are able to find happiness with your self and prosper in the opportunites that tomorrow present...
