First Name Get Some, Last Name Business

What's good blog world? I got this blog subject from a reply to one of my Facebook statuses and I'm here for the people so I have to give the people what they want. As the title suggests, this status is all about business. With so much technology at our hands, we tend to find ourselves deeply enveloped in the ongoings on those around us. And with the people close in our life, it is quite helpful to use Facebook, Myspace for the old heads, Twitter for the new age, and any other social networking sites or assisting materials to stay in contact with our friends, associates, coworkers and family. That's fine and all but there is great misuse on both ends of the spectrum. Some live their lives as an open book to all and then wonder why everyone knows each step of their life and has a comment about it. On the other hand, there are those who feast off of learning about the downfalls of others while never addressing the problems within their own life.

A strong suggestion is to limit those who see your profiles on the internet to those you know and those that can aid in your future such as employers or business connections. Used correctly, the internet can be a wonderful tool for enhancing your life but if it is simply used as your open diary, you have to take the conflicts that may arise as well. Don't tell everyone where you are going to be all the time because you don't know who is reading and may be plotting on your demise. Don't put all of your misfortunes on your profile/status and then not expect some to chastise you, tease you, spread your dirty laundry or to always have a comment. I know that some do use these networks as a means of expressing their true feelings and it is their profile so they should be allowed to do that so others need to quit worrying so much about what goes on in their lives.

Use these networking sites to expand your horizons rather than to simply entertain you. Quit adding people just to be nosy. If you can say to yourself that your adding of this person has any malicious means behind it, then you should completely abandon that. I guarantee if we all take an honest look at what is going on in our own lives, we cannot make a comment or judgment on another because that is time that in could be spent used towards our own enhancement. Cliche as it sounds, it is still useful; when you point a finger at someone else, there are 3 more and a big fat thumb pointing back at you. Use each moment to improve yourself and this world rather then attempting to put others down and I guarantee we will all benefit.
