What's Going On In The World?

World, how are you living? Trying to get back into a more regular writing schedule because this provides me with a more accurate way to express my ideas then the text message language lol...But lately, I've just been noticing that you've really got to pay attention to the individuals you are surrounding yourself with because not everyone is out with your best interests at heart and that the world has just gotten crazy period...

It's the holiday season, officially now..*Hope that all had a wonderful Thanksgiving*..and it's already been plenty of stories that can just make your stomach turn over several times...

A worker was trampled to death at a Walmart during their doorbuster sales the day after Thanksgiving....Two men shot each other to death at a Toys R Us because their girlfriends were arguing over items...

These stories have placed a serious damper over the holiday season, not only because of the horrific details that accompany each but also the small news coverage that is being attached to both of them. A child's happiness is surely one of the greatest sights to see but that isn't the purpose of the holiday season...

You can escape from your every day problems during this season...You can let your family know how much you appreciate them...You can let your friends know that their friendship is so valuable to them...You can prove that you love your spouse to a great level...but not at the expense of harming others or perhaps even those around you. Presents play a vital role in the season but remember that Jesus is the reason for the season at the end of the day and to give thanks for all that you've been blessed with and just try to make another person's life better through more then just material goods...Put a smile on, have a positive conversation, let an old friend know that you've missed them....It isn't all about how much you spend during this season, but rather how many people you touch with your warm spirit...

That being said, I hope that this holiday season continues on with few to no incidents and that you all enjoy this season to the utmost...

God Bless...PromoDave Signing Out...
