It can’t be what they think that drives you but instead what you know as your guiding light
No one knows you better than yourself so why not tune up your inner self relationship?
Speak into existence what you want and be the change that you want in this world
Your limitations are only set in place when you allow them to grow from within
Cleanse yourself of negativity because the seed that grows inside you has the biggest potential
So why waste that on disbelief, disdain, constraint, and restriction?
To live without a purpose is to not live at all
Set a goal, a backup plan, a detour, and always be ready to rebuild
For it is not reaching the end, but rather the road traveled that provides the most joy within
The only thing stopping dreams from becoming realities is actual application
Cheering yourself on is the best medicine and should be taken as a lethal injection
Fear of failure only fuels fools that can’t fathom finding fortunes
So avoid the counsel of a fool for their failure can become you
Don’t be afraid of being alone, as that is how we enter this world and exit
Be driven towards achieving a purpose and your time will never go to waste
It is much more desired to try and fail then to remain stagnant in fear of a mistake
You’ll never make it to the road of riches if you’re afraid of the trail of trouble

Childish Dreams
The faith of a mustard seed can truly move mountains
And as a child, that faith is blindly at its greatest peak as the world hasn’t had a chance to make it weak
A screwed up society simply seeks to make all of its participants conform and settle
And forget about the dreams they had as a child because they simply don’t accept them
People will stifle your efforts out of their own inherent fear of failure
So rather than push your forward, they hold you back, next to them, stuck in average
To the stagnant, it’s much easier to try a little and get the same amount in return
Instead of upping the ante, thus increasing the risk and the reward
Go Hard or Go Home is the motto when trying to make it
And most don’t try their hardest, but rather stay at home, curled up underneath their covers
But sleep is only for those that deserve it, the hard working that exhaust themselves striving for better
So when they dream, all that can float in their mind, is thoughts of what to do next
Premonitions rule most dreams, as you see what can conspire as you aspire for greatness
Even nightmares serve a purpose, as we much see the pitfalls in order to stay informed about avoiding them
One must abandon their childish ways, as far as work ethic, dedication, and drive is concerned
But when it comes to dreams? You should seek to keep the inner desire of that small child at a constant burn
Because it was those days as a child that we played and worked to get big and strong like those that took care of us
And until we take our last breaths, an opportunity for such will always be available
Goals of greatness will always be available to those that know to reach beyond their means
And know that amazing accomplishments as adults, all started as childish dreams

Hearts beating fast at the smoke from the gun begins to clear
Welcome to Chicago, land of the killers, abandoned dreams, fiends, and those caught in the middle
A man lies on the ground motionless, but was just a moment ago, the king of his hood
But at this instance, he stands no chance of making it home at all
Instead of returning to his broken home of lies, cheat, and deceit
His blood, guts, goals and hope begin to spread over all the concrete
Nosy neighbors shuffle behind curtains and peek their eyelids through
But make no movement towards their house or cell phones, as they’ve been subconsciously trained to do
This is the norm in a world ran by hustlers, pimps, thugs, hoes, men, and women and those in combination
As death no longer provides fear, but rather is a stamp of one’s reputation
Living for yours is equated with dying for the same cause
As those cashing out for the same, know that life can, at any time, make eternal withdrawals
Timid and shy better be saved for dogs and newborn babies
Because at each turn of a corner, opportunities are fading
Grab hold of yours tight because life loves not one and takes care of even fewer
Wrong decisions can lead to funeral parlors full of people that knew you
Instead of graduations, weddings, and ceremonies full of praise from those that know you
Living in fear though, leads to not really living at all
As Jay-Z put it, it’s much better to die enormous than to live dormant, never moving at all K
eep in control of the influences around you as those with the closest touch can hurt you the most A
n inner circle full of naysayers and haters hurts much more than a world full of opposition
Test the people that you come across, see where they are in your struggle before you share your success
The world can love you at your highest, but burying you at your worst is what it does best
Go for yours though, don’t let anybody or anything stop you or cause overwhelming worry
Play the game smart though or end up just another face on the news, a sad ghetto story
