Cold sweat, waking up drenched from dreams of success
Cooled by the idea of achieving it, troubled by the process of obtaining it
But what’s a real success story without a little trouble?
MLK couldn’t have always been happy or he wouldn’t have been able to touch so many
He had to let us know that to reach the mountaintop he spoke of, can’t be afraid to stumble plenty
Even when you stumble and almost fall to the bottom
Your rise to the top just becomes that much more desirable
If you’re going to stop dreaming, you might as well stop breathing
Pray until something happens and never stop believing
Especially in yourself because if you don’t support you, who else can you expect to?
Dreams help mold our realities into amazing, unthinkable situations
Just don’t get stuck in being satisfied with dreaming
Faith without works is dead
So take all presented to you and mold it into a life worth living
And make yourself into one of those individuals in the world MLK was dreaming about

Lost In Love
Being you, that’s when the state of life is much more beautiful
But within each of us is the desire to truly be desirable
So we’re taught to feel the need to change to appeal to those we seek
But if the search is mutual, the true, unchanged state of being is what would create the bond
One that wants you for a part of you will never need you
When giving 100% dedication, the 50% being returned looks greater than it really is
The want for love tends to overwhelm a sensible individual’s normal characteristics
Individuality is surrendered and destroyed in the creation of a false unity
When seeking to save another, don’t lose yourself
Self value is just as important to a relationship as adoration for your partner
Never be afraid to wait on love; instead be terrified of rushing past your beliefs for temporary satisfaction
Just as that individual wasn’t there to make your heart better, they won’t be there to pick up the broken pieces
Love can be the utmost connection, when it is bridged between hearts and not just body parts
Don’t try to understand men or women as a whole, as it’s an impossible task
Just find the one woman or man worth being lost in love and dedicated to growth with
