What's going on blog world? I've been on a bit of blog writer's block and it's really getting to me because I've been thinking of a whole lot to write about but I've never in front of the computer at the time and even when I am, I generally don't have the time to put my thoughts down. Just decided to throw some of my thoughts together real fast just to get them up off of my chest....

School's going alright, I suppose. I'm considering a change in scenery for a lot of different reasons but I'm not really concretely sure about anything at this point. Just going to go through the motions and see where that guides me.

Some friends are starting to disappoint me low key...Maybe I expect too much out of people but with some, I'm getting nothing of the sort in return that I expected but it's all good. I still have a strong base of friends that I thank God for because I know everyone doesn't have people like this in their lives. However, I just feel at times, that if my actions are being returned then what's the point of me being there for them but at the end of the day, that's not the type of person I am. So I guess these problems are just going to remain because I'm simply going to remain the same friend/person I am. Hopefully change occurs..

God is good....nothing more to say about that but I know I have to address it because I'm still waking up every day, I have a chance to make something out of my life, I have a strong family and good relationships with many of my friends and tomorrow always presents its self in a more positive life because you never know what God can do for you the next day. All you've got to to do is fight through today. I need to read this paragraph every day because worrying about the stuff I worry about'll destroy me and I can't allow that to happen period and neither can you all. Just now that as long as you are still fighting your probles, you still have a fighting chance of making it through so just keep pushing....

Real Life Observations and Suggestions

What's going on blog world? It seems lately that many of our heroes, well I won't go that far with the title, I'll say instead that many of the powerful figures in the world have lost their integrity and that seems to just be accepted as just being "the norm" but it's a new year, we're the current generation and we can change all of this. I just have a couple quick suggestions to change all of that.

• Don't say anything that you can't repeat. If you have to say anything under your breath or you aren't willing to stand by what you say, then there is no point of ever saying it.
• Don't allow others to influence you in a negative manner. Hopefully, this one is obvious but it's a hard concept to grasp at times because normally those that are doing this negative influencing are close friends. Even with your close friends, you must be able to define what you stand by and what you are willing to do and are willing to walk away from.
• Allow your personality to bloom. Many of us are scared to let people enter our lives or to seek out new people because we're scared of rejection but the only time you truly fail is when you fail to try. There are plenty of wonderful people that I've encountered in my lifetime that are afraid of stepping outside of their shells, even I have problems with this at time. Once you realize that your life is of the same value as anyone else then it is much easier to realize that you have the same access to success as others.
• Don't place all of your eggs in one basket. Never place all of your effort into one job because then you are placing yourself into an unfair situation. This is not commenting on jobs necessarily because to do your best, you have to put your best foot forward with all your heart to be successful. I'm speaking more about friendships and relationships because placing all of your heart into one friend or spouse can lead to easy heartbreak. Hold your spouse in a higher light but don't forget about those around you that have helped you into the person you've become.
• Appreciate life to the fullest. There is so much out there in to world to do and see and shielding yourself from work will lead to you simply regretting not trying all that you wanted. You never know what you can achieve until you try.
  
• Make your life your own. Listen to your heart when you make your decisions and make sure that you include God in all of your decisions because He knows all that you can handle and wants the best for you in the end. Don't allow those around you to influence your decisions. Have a strong circle of friends that you can depend on but at the end of the day, please know that whatever your decision is exclusively affects you and should be the most positive decision possible.
• Last suggestion: Come back to this blog and buy an F.O.C. mixtape lol

New Year....New PromoDave? Naaaaw lol

What's going on blog world? Happy New Year to all and I'm hoping that God is blessing you all in this new year and that whatever issues you had in last year, have been uplifted from your shoulders and that you are moving towards a new and improved version of yourself in this new year.

I don't necessarily believe in the whole idea of waiting until the new year to start over because each day provides you with an opportunity to change yourself but since we're around the time of the new year, I hope you all do capitalize on this opportunity to correct errors of your past and to really change yourself for the better.

As far as myself goes, I'm hoping to improve on my school work, not saying I did bad, but there's always room for improvement, you know? I'm also hoping to stay on top of this blog stuff a lot more because I have a lot of ideas floating around my head that I need to get off my chest because that causes a lot of problems when you just hold on these problems.

I definitely also want to make sure I'm doing as much as I can to help get this F.O.C. movement on and shaking, so if you haven't had a chance to hear the music please let me know and we'll work something out about getting you a copy of the mixtape (it's going for $5) Done Deal Vol. 1. No lie, it's not too many other sounds competing with ours right now.

The title of this post is New Year....New PromoDave? and I really don't think that I'm changing. I just see myself growing and simply embracing some ideas that I know are more positive for my enhancement and shifting myself away from ideas that have halted my growth as a man. Hopefully, you realize the helpfulness in that type of tihnking and are able to apply it to your own growth. As always, I hope this aided in your own life as much as it helped myself
